Review – “Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance” Trailer – 2012
Plot: As Johnny Blaze hides out in Eastern Europe, he is called upon to stop the devil, who is trying to take human form. (IMDB)
Directed by: Mark Neveldine, Brian Taylor
Starring: Nicolas Cage, Ciarán Hinds and Idris Elba
Release Date: February 17, 2012
This movie already came out, but I thought I’d review it anyways since i haven’t done it yet. Well, what can I say. I’ve already read some reviews of the movie that said it sucked badly. I just watched the first Ghost Rider movie Saturday and I was not a fan. It had bad writing, suckish cinematography, bad humor, and just a lame story. And by the looks of this trailer, it really doesn’t look like it’s gonna be any good either. I see they didn’t improve on Ghost Rider’s look, seeing as it looks like a graduate straight out of Film School animated it. It just looks like it’s gonna suck too. Here’s a top comment random Youtuber review of the movie:
“This movie was pathetic. It wasn’t a film, it was a joke. The first was great compared to this one. They went from like fifty two to negative nine. It literally was not made seriously. A nine-year-old might’ve directed the directors. The plot, the acting, and the quotes were all so terrible. The cast was fine, but I wonder if they even watched this film before even releasing it.” -SX195SID2

Review – “Abraham Lincoln: Vampie Hunter” Trailer – 2012
Plot: President Lincoln’s mother is killed by a supernatural creature, which fuels his passion to crush vampires and their slave-owning helpers. (IMDB)
Directed by: Timur Bekmambetov
Starring: Benjamin Walker, Rufus Sewell and Dominic Cooper
Release Date: June 22, 2012
This movie looks… very unique. Obviously, not historically accurate, but very unique. The trailer looked pretty cool, very dark, and action packed filmed. This one just seems like the story they’re taking on is risky, matter of fact, VERY RISKY. This is either gonna be a big hit, or a major blow to the crotch. It had some cool slow motion fight clips in the trailer. My fear is that they will go crazy and have every fight or action scene with slow motion. This one looks pretty cool and unique. I love movies that try to be different, no matter what anyone says. I’m feeling pretty good about this one. 8.5.
Trailer Rating System
10: Beautiful. This is a trailer that pretty much ensures a truly superb movie that you should go see at midnight or whenever it comes out.
9: Just shy of total ensuring of a beautiful movie. Still gonna be a great movie, so go see it.
8: A very good trailer, but not the best choice for everyone.
7: Decent. There may be fans of the movie series or title, but for others, not the right choice. Best choice is to wait for it on DVD.
6: The movie has or had potential, but shows flaws or is generally not entertaining. If anything, wait for it on DVD.
5: Bad. Looks lame and stupid. We want great movies again Hollywood.
4-1: Sucks. Don’t go see this.
Review – “The Bourne Legacy” Trailer – 2012
Plot: A story centered on a new CIA operative in the universe based on Robert Ludlum’s novels. (IMDB)
Directed by: Tony Gilroy
Starring: Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton
Release Date: August 3, 2012
Now I never saw the other three Bourne movies in the trilogy, but I did hear they were pretty good and very realistic. They’re based on those novels, as IMDB states. The thing I don’t understand is, how do you continue the Bourne series without Jason Bourne? How does that even work? Did he die or something? “There was never just one”. Yeah well, the guy’s name isn’t gonna be Bourne, so is he carrying on the Bourne Legacy? Either way, I don’t think it should have the Bourne name in the title, but then that would confuse people and they wouldn’t know if it was apart of the Bourne series or not.
The trailer was good except for the blinds that kept coming and moving on the screen constantly. Those were extremely annoying and seemed unnecessary like a desperate attempt to be original these days. I’m not too sure about this one, it looks like it has potential but by what this trailer showed, it doesn’t interest me much. I think we’re just going to have to wait for the second trailer to be sure at all.

Review – “The Amazing Spider-Man” Trailer 2 – 2012
Plot: Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father’s former partner. (IMDB)
Directed by: Marc Webb
Starring: Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans
Release Date: July 3, 2012
I originally gave the first trailer of “The Amazing Spider-Man a 7.5, well let me tell you now. I have changed my mind. At first I thought the movie was gonna be suckish, bland, and just not good overall. But after seeing more footage, I am sold. This movie looks like it is going to be awesome.
I like how Peter looks younger and like he’s actually in high school, not in college already. Most of the animation looks good, just some of it still looks like a video game. I also think this movie will have too much CGI like the 2nd Transformers movie. This trailer also makes me think of Batman Begins so much. I mean, it’s a reboot of an awesome superhero and a really awesome writer, and it even says Begins once in the trailer (I know, doesn’t really mean Batman Begins, but oh well xD). 1:36 on the trailer also reminds me of the brawl in Batman Begins when Batman takes down all of the guys packaging the drugs.
Well, this looks like it’s gonna be awesome. I hope to see even more great footage and news about this until it comes out.

Review – “The Expendables 2″ Trailer – 2012
Plot: Mr. Church reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheck, but when one of their men is murdered on the job, their quest for revenge puts them deep in enemy territory and up against an unexpected threat. (IMDB)
Directed by: Simon West
Starring: Sylvester Stallone, Liam Hemsworth and Randy Couture
Release Date: August 17, 2012
The first Expendables was kinda… eh. It didn’t a well thought out story. I felt like the intention of that movie was to just have a movie with a crapload of guns, knives, fighting, action, and men. I mean, it was pretty cool with all of that stuff in it, but my favorite kind of movie is a movie with a really good story. The Expendables just didn’t work too well for me. It seems like every Sylvester Stalone movie except the first couple Rocky’s and Rambo’s were good. Now he just goes out and makes a movie for the sake of making a movie.
We also didn’t really get a look into the story at all, I’m assuming it’s because it has no REAL story like the first one. Sylvester Stalone should be in a movie where he has no say in the story or script, and then see how it goes. But hey, maybe I’m wrong. Plus, Chuck Norris wouldn’t join the cast unless it was going to be rated PG-13. So you know what they did? They fixed it so it wouldn’t be rated R, instead PG-13. Just a warning, they were holding back on us for this one. Chuck Norris is cool and all but come on… I’ll probably just see this on DVD when it comes out.

Review – “Men In Black III” Trailer – 2012
Plot: Agent J travels in time to MIB’s early years in the 1960s, to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history. (IMDB)
Directed by: Barry Sonnenfeld
Starring: Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin
Release Date: May 25, 2012
I was actually a bit suprised to see that this trailer had come out. I hadn’t really checked on the status of a third MiB in a while, but I was pretty happy to see it in my subscription box. I loved the first two MiB’s a lot. They were funny, action-packed, and interesting with the story and all. The first one was better than the second one, most people would agree on that.
The only thing I didn’t really like about this trailer was when he was talking to the graffiti on the wall. It just seemed a bit cheesy to me.
You know what I also noticed in this trailer? Will Smith does not age. He looks like exactly the same as the other movies. Anyways, this looks like it’s gonna be another good one, I hope it’ll be the last since most movies with sequels should be a max of three. There are only a number of ones that did good with over three in the franchise. (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pirates Of The Carribean, etc.)

Review – “Wrath Of The Titans” Trailer – 2012
Plot: Perseus embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, who has been targeted for capture by his traitorous son, Ares, and his brother, Hades. (IMDB)
Directed by: Jonathan Liebesman
Starring: Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Rosamund Pike
Release Date: March 30, 2012
This trailer actually came out a while ago, December 19th or something like that, I just never got around to reviewing this one.
I never saw the first movie, “Clash Of The Titans”, but I heard it was alright. After talking to a couple people, they were actually shocked they were making a sequel and a bit dissapointed saying it messed with the story or something. I mean it looks like a cool trailer, with the special effects and everything, like one of those boss movies. It has Liam Neeson in so it has to be good or that would just be tragic and not acceptable. The rock song I wasn’t feeling, it just made the whole trailer kind of blah for me, but you know. That’s just my opinion. I’ll give this trailer an 8.
